BMSIT is a private engineering college formed in 2002 under the aegis of parent Institute of BMS College of Engineering which is affiliated to VTU and recently was recognized as autonomous institute in 2021. It is spread over 21 acres situated near Yelahanka new town which is hub of core industries sector in Bangalore, Karnataka. Since it ranks in one of top engineering colleges in Bangalore it has been announced as the Institute of National Importance by the Govt. of India for its structural halls, labs and faculty strength with quality education. Courses & Eligibility
For UG Programs we have 4 years Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) courses with introducing of new courses in the academic year 2022: Civil, Mechanical, ECE, EEE, ISE, Chemical, CSE, CS, Aerospace, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Bio Technology. Other Courses include 5 years B.Arch. Program.
Students must have secured minimum 50% marks in 12th exam with science streams for general and 45% marks for reserved category.
For PG Programs we have 2 years MTech Programs in various field of engineering including Construction Technology, Computer Science, electronics, thermal, design, digital, bio medical engineering and 2years MCA program. Eligibility for PG courses is minimum 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree for unreserved and 45% marks for reserved category.

Placements
A separate Placement management cell for each department for companies taking recruitment drive from core companies and assist students and ensure each student get placed with good packages and ensure that each one of them gets desired field companies of their choices. The institute has its own indoor and outdoor stadium who wishes to pursue their career in sports and the campus even has Bank & ATM facilities. The campus has even its own health care facilities in case of emergency needs.
