Courses offered
Under Graduation:
The institute provides 5 years duration of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) consisting of Shareera Kriya, Rachana, Dravya Guna, Rasa Shastra, Roga Nidhan, Vikruti Vijnana, Swasthavritta, Prasooti Tantra & Stri Roga departments coming under it.
Students after completing their 4 year course they have to undergo mandatory internship of 1 year in the hospital where they will be treating patients suffering from disease & treat him with medicine required to cure that disease.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students must have passed the 12th Std/two year PUC examination of the PUC education board, Bangalore or any other examination recognized as equivalent therein with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant Science subjects (Physics, chemistry and Biology of the 12th Std./Second year PUC examination only).
However in the case of students belonging to SC/ST the minimum requirements in percentage of marks for admission to the first BAMS Course is relaxed by 10% marks.

Accommodation
Each department of Atreya Ayurvedic College has separate, equipped laboratories. All the laboratories are equipped with mannequins, stimulators and necessary articles for procedure demonstration, models, specimens, charts.
