MVJ College is a private university situated in Bangalore, Karnataka with its formation in 1982. It is affiliated to VTU for its quality education and infrastructure environment where students can get easily enrolled for their period of studies in the campus. The institute which is one of the oldest in Karnataka provides courses in different fields of studies from engineering to business management with introducing new programs in artificial & data science for the fast-developing world depending on the digital platform.
It is been awarded as the A+ grade college given by NAAC due to the huge growth in the field of studies, experienced faculties, students ratio, research labs which have led to the college in one of the most sought institutes students wish to take admission because of the founding father Jayaraman who started these colleges. Programs Offered & Eligibility
- For UG Programs we have 4 years Bachelor in Engineering (B.E.) courses with introduction of new courses in the academic year 2022: Civil, Mechanical, ECE, EEE, ISE, Chemical, CSE, CS, Aerospace, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Bio Technology. Other Courses include 5 years B.Arch. Program
- For PG Programs we have 2 years M.Tech Programs in various field of engineering including Construction Technology, Computer Science, electronics, thermal, design, digital, bio medical engineering, MBA Courses.
Eligibility: For Candidate seeking admissions in the above UG Courses should have passed in 12th or 2nd PUC with a minimum of 45% marks in physics & math as compulsory subjects for candidate belonging from General background and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC Category.
Admissions for lateral entry students must have completed their Diploma Exams with 45% for unreserved and 40% for reserved are eligible for courses and KEA/COMEDK entrance exams r eligible for admissions.
For PG Courses the Candidate must have secured 50% marks in Bachelor degree from recognized board for General and 45% for reserved with valid GATE or PGCET scores are eligible for admissions.
NOTE: Candidates seeking admissions through Management MVJ College of Engineering Quota must have appeared any of the entrance exams of national level.
Placements
A separate Placement management cell for each departments for companies taking recruitment drive from core companies and assist students and ensure each student get placed with good packages and ensure that each one of them gets desired field companies of their choices and ensure brighter future for each years for each students with companies like HCL, Samsung, Nokia etc.
Facilities
Facilities provided in the campus are top quality whether it is Hostel, Canteen and other resource utilization available in the premises of campus.
